Help recommend me printer

My printer spoilt the other day. I use the printer to print school notes, so it's okay if there's no colour. Will be good if can scan and copy.

Hopefully the printer and its ink/toner can be a cheap as possible.

Get laser printer. Those with ink and toner cant be as good as laser print. Its good investment in long run.

TS can try surfing the laser printer thread. I'm also a student. Currently using Fuji Xerox p265

You should look for a printer with readily available OEM cartridges. Printers are cheap, it is the toner which is expensive.

But they can last much much longer than inkjet cartridges which shows the savings on the long run....

the better printer should be those laser 1. It will be better if u know what is yr consumption like

what about just a cheap 3in1 from HP if your printing not many?

Eh bro laser uses toner.....idk which printer don't need use either cartridge or toner one, got this kind of printer then is truly 'airprint' liao, use air to print

Back to main topic, depends on usage. Frequent but light usage or photo printing consider inkjet. Rarely print or just simply heavy duty printing go for laser. All those that say just go for laser nvr take into consideration how expensive toner and drum can be. Your printer might also simply spoil even before u use finish ur toner. I would recommend any cheap all in one inkjet with reasonably priced ink. Can consider hp4500, canon 3570 or simply the one that another forumer showed u

Replacement toner can cost more than half of the the printer's price. But in the long run, it would cost 3-4cents of toner per page. Can be even cheaper by getting 3rd party toners. I heard taobao is ridiculously cheap

taobao toners can use? later printer become faulty.
