Help recommend me printer

taobao toners can use? later printer become faulty.

it depends, u have to check the remarks etc... but really, cant trust everything taobao sells.

taobao toner really cheap man. i havent tried but i made my decision on p226dw partly because they sell the off market ones

oem toner can get from qoo10 or ebay, but quality wise may not as good as original~

i using canon mono laser printer and the toner from taobao. low end laser printer use cheap 3rd party toner can liao one canon original toner 90+ while mine printer only less than 200bucks

qoo10 at least can request for refund but taobao dun refund so safer to get from qoo10.

I would recommend u to buy the entry level brother laser printer like HL-1110 which costs ~$100. Original toner cartridge abt ~$52 or compatible ones at about ~$35 only. prints 1,000 pages. compatible ones good enough for notes. so pretty worth while i would say considering the replacement toner is only 1/3 of printer costs. Not sure if you still need a recommendation but the Epson Ink tank series is exceptional when it comes to low cost printing. Each refill bottle is $10 but it takes forever to use up. I went for more than a year without having to refill (I think it took about 3 reams of paper?)

Any Brother laser user here? Will like to find out if the warranty covers the drum?
Understand FujiXerox covers that.

My printer spoilt the other day. I use the printer to print school notes, so it's okay if there's no colour. Will be good if can scan and copy.

Hopefully the printer and its ink/toner can be a cheap as possible.

Actually I don't really know the market price. 100-200 can get?

For a monochrome print-scan-copy printer, it's not that expensive. Should be able to get a Fuji Xerox one at $150 or less. Wait for the next computer show maybe? Next show is SITEX 2015 26 Nov - 29 Nov.

If I am not wrong, the machine is pretty pricey for this Epson L series where they earn from the machine instead of the inks.

I saw at popular today, the brother entry level laser printer goes for below $100 if I am not wrong. Can just take that is good enough.

I've been using Epson ink tank printers for 2years+. Original inks $10 a bottle but I buy third party ones $4 a bottle. 100ml bottle can last around 1.5- 2k pages.

Can print all your notes in color!
