Hi,

My 5-year old DIY PC died on me.Was told to get a total new setup by my peers. Not really much of a PC enthusiast so would like the experts here to recommend me a setup with a budget of around max 1.5k with some salvage parts.

These are the stuffs I "deciphered" from my receipt which I hoped can be salvaged
1. Asus Monitor 24" 2. Logitech Mouse & Keyboard 3. Transcend SSD 250gb 4. Seasonic PSU 750 Watts (should i buy a new one?) 5. Fractal Design R4 Casing (should i buy a new one?)

The purpose would be mainly for gaming and a little simple Photoshop :D

Thanks!!

CASE: Phanteks Eclipse P400 TG ($139)
MOBO+CPU: Gigabyte AB350 Gaming 3 + AMD Ryzen 5 1600 ($513)
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 2666MHz 2x8GB ($199)
PSU: Superflower Leadex Silver 650W ($139)
SSD: *reuse*
HDD: WD Blue 1TB ($72)
GPU: Zotac GTX 1070 Mini + backplate ($500 after $100 coupon from Qoo10 sold by vii gamer)
OS: Windows 10 Home (<$20 via carousell)

TOTAL: $1582

Prices quoted from PC theme or otherwise stated.

If you can bargain, go tradepac @ level 5 and I am sure you can squeeze this specs (minus gpu and os) into a price that fit your 1.5k budget.

I'm focusing quite a bit on aesthetic. If you can forgo aesthetic bling, then ya, 1.5k is no issue fitting in at all.

You're in luck.
The $100 coupon is available for grab from now till 30april.
So you have till 30th to decide and make your order.

You could save a bit more by purchasing their $100 giftcards at $97. BUT THIS IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.
They might review your giftcard purchase before processing and its usually only done during office hours. Which means theres a chance you'll get your giftcards when the $100 coupon expires.

If u have not gotten ur case and hdd yet, u can consider getting case from techdeals at $140-$20 and maybe a 2 dor 3tb hdd above $100. There is a $20 off $100 coupon as well.
