Hi, I am intending to build up a gaming pc that can play games like Battlefield 4..etc. in high-max settings. I have no idea on anything about computer parts but I will have a friend who knows how to build a pc to head down to Sim Lim with me.

My budget is around $1200-$1500, what parts do you guys recommend I should be getting. Best if the budget can include monitor. And lastly, does getting the shop people to build up have any charges? Or just ask my friend do better?

Dell s2340L ($209) - hdmi, dvi, glossy, no height adjustment, no vesa mounts

If you buy everything form same shop, they can build for you. But if you ask for discount, that might be another matter.

I think you can take away the SSD/HDD(suggested for my friend) to reduce the cost as required.
