just install on new desktop, the only problem you will face is windows activation because of the new mobo, have to activate again via tel

Remember to uninstall drivers as well if you are transplanting the hdd without a fresh install.

Any update ??
.how do I unistall all the drivers
Which drivers I need to unistall

pop the HD into your new rig and boot to safe mode and go to the control panel to uninstall those drivers that you can find on the list ( you might get lucky and might be able to boot)

i would suggest a clean install, but i have done it before without re-installing.

we cannot suggest you what to uninstall without knowing what mbo and what chipset you have.

your best bet is go to your old mbo's website and check what drivers are included and go from there to uninstall

Hi i would Also like to advice on the rig that i am getting.

ASUS Z97-A / USB 3.1 + i5-4690k/i7-4790k
Western Digital Black 7200RPM - 2 units <= going to raid it
H100i GTX CPU cooler
450 Noctis NZXT <= this case I like so i get it
Corsair RM650 Gold Modular <= for future GFX that I am getting

I have my own SSD that i wanna built it for storage. what do you guys think on the raid drive that i am making? As for memory, i saw amazon having an offer which is the item below. Is it worth getting cause its cheaper then the stores atm.

Corsair Vengeance Pro 16GB 2x8GB DDR3 2400MHz

For GPU, i plan to use my old one first as i don't have much time to play game atm. And is the processor alright? cause i will be using it to do some 3D modelling software.
