I checked the manual and the mobo back I/O there is no dvi or hdmi port
OK, got any spare GPU on hand?

If no spare GPU, bring your rig down to PC Care & Solutions, #02-32, Sim Lim Square, and ask Nigel to lend you a spare GPU to test as well as to test your GPU. Can also ask him about your CPU heat issues and see what he says.

Noted, thanks alot for your help greatly appreciated.

One last question if I want to buy a new rig I think I can reuse the 500w psu and hdds right? Else is it more economical to buy a brand new rig.

Maybe can give me two suggestions
1. Brand new rig with 1k budget mainly using for watching movies and slight gaming, on hand the games is SC2 and some other low requirement games.

2. Budget 600-800 for cpu, mobo, GPU and case. Will be re using 500w psu and 3 hdd.

Thanks.

I think must see what Nigel say first. Can also discuss upgrade options with him as well. An upgrade would be very much economical than a new rig when considering the amount of perfectly working hardware that you have.

CM 690 is a pretty solid casing, no need to change casing.

Suggested replacement parts

Mobo+CPU: MSI B85-G41 PC Mate + i5 4460 (357)
GPU: Powercolor R9 280 Turboduo (285)

Total cost: $642

Buy at PC Themes, #04-15, and ask for discounts.

Notes:

1) These upgrades will be good enough to play your games at max settings in 1080p. Reuse everything else that is not stated in the suggested upgrade parts list.
