Weather-wise, good i hope!

Full proof. Take the travellator or lift down to B1, then take ubus 705. One stop will reach Taoyuan High speed Rail station. Occasionally will stop at novotel hotel, but just sit and relax!

Day 3 (Tuesday-kaohsiung -> Taipei)
Morning - walk around KS area
Afternoon Travel to Zuoying HSR
-ximending
-Gongguan Night Market
-Shida Night Market

Day 4 (Wednesday)
- Jinguashi from Ruifang
- Jiufen Old Street(Reach around 12pm)
- Pingxi Line -> then late noon Sky Lantern @ Shifen
- Miaokou NM (Any idea can stay at there how long, enough time to go back to taipei?)

Day 5 (Thursday)

-Beitou Hot-Spring Area, Park, Museum & Hell Valley
- Danshui Old Street

wufenpu not closed on Monday. It is wholesalers day, so they dun entertain you.

Day 3 - Can skip shida night market, its worst than our pasar malam. Spend your time on other proper night market.

Day 4 - You can spend some time in keelong also if time allows, I find that its a not bad town. I thought that its a quiet and ulu small town until a kind uncle from tourist visitor centre told me that a lot of singaporeans actually came here. So there must be something worth visiting other than night market?

The food at miaokou is slightly on the high side compared to other night market. The main highlights are the seafood, so see if your budget can let you eat how long lor.

oh ya you might want to visit ximending at night too...its more lively and its different from day time.

Take train or bus back at the train station. take train should be around 45min to TMS.

There are also bus services from keelung to taipei. So do not worry. As long as you are in taipei main station, the walk to ximending is a good 10-15mins.

General direction, eastwards.
From mitsokoshi cross the road in the direction of macdonald's carry on for 10mins, you will reach the edge of ximending.

Can use google map for directions. Will not get lost.

wah enjoy max man! I don't remember seeing 握壽司 when I was there, later i go back then check my pictures see got snapped this stall or not. Best is invite a twmm to eat sushi with you~

I checked with a few cab drivers, most refuse to add refresh farm to the journey, the rest for 8hr TWD3300-3500. 1 driver quoted TWD4500 including refresh farm TWD4500 12h...is it worth it?:/ or too rushed hahah...

Day 4
Dazzling cafe for lunch
Flight home!

Am considering a cab on Day 2 so that won't spend too much time traveling/waiting.

probably you want to look at the taiwan map again. day 2 sml and then jiufen/shifen? and day 3 miaoli flying cow? you're wasting a lot of time traveling up and down taiwan. lol. you probably want to put sml and fly cow on separate days. sml, puli, taichung 1 day, flying cow 1 day.

SML is @ taichung. Jiufen Shifen is at taipei. is two different parts.
travelling from taipei to taichung is 50+ min by hsr, 765twd one way per person. By bus is 3hrs plus one way. you cant possibly finish both places in one day.

If you travelling by public transport, jiufen shifen Gold ecological park can already take you 4hrs + travelling and waiting time .
TMS => Ruifang => Jiufen (Bus 1062)
Total one way is 80min at least
Jiufen => Gold Ecological park (Bus 1062)
Total one way is 15-30 min at least (If many ppl need wait another bus)
Gold Ecological park => Ruifang => Shifen
Total one way is 55 at least (if you miss pingxi line, you need wait one hour)
Shifen => Ruifang => TMS
Total one way is 100 min at least (if you miss pingxi line, you need wait one hour)

in ur itinerary, you put shilin nm together with flying cow. i believe flying cow will take a full day. either you stay there for a night or you have to take taxi to go back to taipei which will be about an hour journey. forget about taking other public transport as it will take many hours. you'll be too tired by the time u reach taipei.
