[Help] time to upgrade?

Hi, is my current specs sufficient enough for daily internet use? I am facing choppy/laggy scrolling in IE/Firefox on a freshly formatted PC running on Win 7 64bit and wonder if it could be hardware related. Any advise?

E8400 processor
4GB ram
Biostar G41-M7
Samsung 120gb ssd
ati 6600 LE
Dell 2410U

By right your rig is perfectly OK for internet surfing one leh. Try Chrome, maybe the experience would be much better for you.

Also, is that a Nvidia 6600 LE in your system?

Its a SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 6670 1GB LE. Ya, weird i can get 3mb/s download so shouldn't be internet speed. Frustrating my ipad can get a better internet scrolling experience than on my pc.

To get best performance for your LGA775 mobo, try overclock , add another 4MB DDR2 RAM, and consider get a PCI USB3.0 card for new hard drive support
