Hi all! I'm having difficulty in deciding whether to buy Corsair Carbide Air 540 or Graphite Series 780T. I just want a good airflow for my casing. Currently using Cooler Master Haf 922. I got a R9 290 mounted onto a Corsair HG10 bracket being liquid cooled by Corsair H60. The top part of my casing i have a Deepcool 240 radiator and the rear part of my casing i got the H60 radiator.

In terms of cooling, it depends on how u position those radiators in the casing. Coz the casing marketed for the best airflow can turn into a sauna if u position radiators and fans in a way that hampens airflow within the case.

Instead, u shld be looking at space constraints. Got enough space to fit a full tower? Corsair 760T/780T. Else go for Air 540.

I got space for full tower and the cube sized casing. Cause i do video editing and whenever i renders, it's quite hot too. I dun need a silent running PC too. I intend to also change my H60 fan to Noctua 3000RPM that currently liquid cool my R9 290.

im using the 540 and a similar gpu & cpu cooling. my take is airflow is not crucial as yr liquid cooling yr main components. more importantly are your radiator placements. try to go for pushpull. also intake yielded the best results for me.

i got the 540 mainly cos of its huge side window and ease of installation. not much cable management as its in the other compartment. since it's well ventilated, there's no real need for intake/exhaust fans other than those on the radiators, meaning it won't improve temps much or none at all.

Dont change to 3krpm fans. Sounds almost like a jet plane taking off at full speed with minimal improvement.

From what I know, the temps also won't really improvement even if you change to a more 'powerful' AIO unit, let a lone a more powerful fan.

GTs 1850rpms will be great for balance between silence and decent performance.

I am using Corsair 730T which is essentially a 760T/780T with no transparent side window and front fan controller.

Must buy for upgrade enthusiast and cable management nerds.
