Help! Unable to boot normally during cold boot

This problem only start to surface recently.

Whenever I cold boot my computer first time in the day, I need to press and hold down the power button for like 8 to 10 sec before my computer will boot up. Nothing happen before the 8-10 sec(No fan spinning, no POST etc)

However once my computer booted up(warmed up), any subsequent shutdown and bootup via pressing the power button is immediate. I cant seem to find any definite ans online.

I opened my casing and resit the power SW wire, but it doesnt help. I dont think is the cable and switch faulty because once my PC boot up, the button works perfectly.

Its a DIY PC i done myself is only 5 months old. Never done overclocking, MOBO is also the version that doesnt allow me to do it.

Case: CM Enforcer
CPU: Intel Core i5-4670, Gigabyte H87-D3H
GPU: Power color Radeon HD 7950
HDD: SANDISK 256gb SSD and 1TB WD Green HDD
Ram: 2X8GB crucial ballastic
PSU: Seasonic M12II bronze 620W


Any help pls? Dont have additional PSU to try =(

probably the Psu problem ba... maybe havent warm up yet leh... if can try to take a PSU from friends or old com plug in and test if the same problem or not

Just to share I've encountered a cold boot problem for my pc. I switched off the mains for a few days as I was away. On my return. Pc refuses to boot with only flashing green light in the psu. Found suggestion to use hair dryer on psu fan after googling for solution. It powered on after blowing cool air into the psu fan for a minute or so. Hopefully the psu can work until I save enough money to replace the desktop as its already 5 years old.

Becareful, when the PSU ups lorry(died), it may take the motherboard with it.

Still thinking whether should replace psu or get a new budget desktop. My current desktop is over 5 years old (replaced motherboard before). I feel replacing the psu may not be cost effective compared to getting a new one as other parts may fail.

Tried googling, other then RMA theres pretty not much other solution.

Im still thinking whether is it my power not enough, cause my desktop is on an extension plugs rather then a solo wall part.

But then it doesnt make sense when the computer boot up liao im able to press the button as per normal

But will they believe me? As in later i bring down there it work leh.. haha.

RMA normally is 1 to 1? Or they will take back repair and return me few days later
