My PC's USB ports seems to be not working, i tried plugging iphone cables/multi USB PORTS all cant work. I keep hearing windows producing the ding din sound (when usually windows detect new USB devices sound) but cant detect all the devices. All devices are usable on my laptop.

The one thing usable on my PC USB is the radio receiver for keyboard and mouse.

I have tried plugging around all 4 USB ports also the same problem.

Re-installed windows, still the same problem.

Anyone can advise? No USB sometimes quite troublesome... :(

Have you installed USB Drivers for your motherboard?

Do check in Device Manager on your PC.

Sometimes, upgrading to Windows 10 will have better luck with older driver detection.

There is a small chance USB ports might be damaged. Hopefully that is not the case.

Does look like driver issue. If you're on older windows like 8 and 7 and below , I suggest you find your motherboard support page and download+install the USB drivers manually.

You may tried downloading iobit driver booster free version to find the latest drivers for your motherboard, this may be will solve your drivers issue unless is hardware problem.

Hi Guys,

i have updated my drivers but still dont work. The only workable device is my logitech keyboard and mouse receiver.

Rest of USB just keep connecting and disconnecting... not sure why...I am using Windows 10

Go to System Restore.

Check for any latest updates &or system changes.

If possible uninstall the latest Windows Updates or Restore to previous, prior to this problem.

Does it happen to your iPhone only?

Seems like only my wireless receiver for keyboard and mouse is working,

Iphone,USB multi ports, card readers all can’t use...

I can’t remember when this happened, seems like a few mths back after the major windows 10 update...

I tried windows reinstalled options, but still can’t work

you might want to check this out. might solve your problem. go to power options, look for suspend usb or sth similar. turn it off. see if it helps.
just my 2 cents.
