Help with 15days Central Japan

Hi all,

I have finally some what plan finish my itenary..
Would very appreciate if you all can give me some suggestion on how to improve on (I have the tenancy of filling my itenary with too many stuff :s22: and desperately need help with shaving some off if needed)
Many thanks to darkimperal's itenary which inspired me on this trip as really love going to festivals :)

Here's my itenary so far
Day1 Nagoya:
Inuyama festival

Day2 Iga Ueno (optional) - Osaka
Optional Nagoya: Yamazakigawa Riverside (not sure if the flowers are still blooming)
Leave Nagoya and head towards Osaka
Optional Uenoshi (Iga Ueno): Ninja Museum & Ueno park
Leave Iga Ueno and head towards Osaka
Osaka - Minami city centers(Namba), Dotonbori - Food district,
Shinsaibashi Shopping Arcade

Day 3 Osaka:
Instant Ramen Museum
Kema Sakuranomiya Park - Ohanami
Osaka Castle
Osaka Aquarium

Day 4 Tango Peninsula(Ine):
Dont ask me why I ended up getting a room to there... It has already been paid for...=.="

Day 5-6 Kyoto - Gifu:
North:
Kinkakuji
Ryoanji

East:
Kiyomizudera
Ginkakuji
Gion
Philosepher Path
Maruyama Park

South:
Fushimi Inari shrine

Optional: West
Arashiyama: Bamboo Groves
Arashiyama: Togetsukyo Bridge
Gifu: check in hotel


Day 7 Gifu:
Tejikara Fire Festival

Day 8 Takayama:
Takayama Festival
Any place to visit over there?

Day 9 Shirakawago:
Tour and overnight at Shirakawago

Day 10 Toyama:
Overnight at Toyama
Any place to visit over there?

Day 11 Tateyama - Matsumoto:
Japan Alpine Route
Over night at Matsumoto

Day 12-15 Tokyo:
Leave Matsumoto and head for Tokyo
Bunkyo Civic Center Observation Deck: Korakuen
Roppongi
Imperial Castle
Asakusa Yabusame
Optional: Tokyo City View observation deck - Roppongi
Any interesting place to visit?
Been to Harajuku, Asakusa, Akibara, Sky tree last year :D


Day 16:

Go home :s12:

there isnt much at toyama except as a gateway to the alpine route.
You can however take the limited express up to kanazawa on a day trip which is more interesting.

[u can visit Amanohasidate, one of the 3 most scenic place in japan, or kinosaki, an onsen town. both are near tango penisular]

Kiyomizudera
Ginkakuji
Gion
Philosepher Path
Maruyama Park

South:
Fushimi Inari shrine

Optional: West
Arashiyama: Bamboo Groves
Arashiyama: Togetsukyo Bridge
Gifu: check in hotel
[this 2 days may be a bit rush coz u still need to travel to gifu]


Day 7 Gifu:

[u can forward ur luggage if u dun want to carry it up the alpine route. check out alpine route website for details.]

[have some time for matsumoto castle. it is one of the most beautiful castle i have been to in japan]

I'm staying in kyoto for 2nights, Day 6 will move to Gifu.. not sure if it is still abit rush..:s12:

Will take a look at Amanohasidate..
Have anyone been to those area? is it tourist friendly? I only know abit of japanese, not sure if travelling over there :(

i have been to amanohasidate and i think it is quite tourist friendly. the land bridge is just a short walk from the train station, no issue getting around.
