Hi, the voltage is currently manually set(?) I believe because I'm overclocking? Please correct if I’m mistaken.
I have seen reports of delidding giving up to 20C improvements but the price of the delidding service can go up pretty high(service+shipping). Also, if I’m not wrong, I would need to replace the liquid metal every year or so?

There's a manual 'fixed' voltage and 'adaptive' voltage with most mobos. If you'd like the chip to downclock/undervolt when idling and run cooler on low load, adaptive voltage is for you. Despite what some internet comments are spreading, you *can* create your own OC without losing power management or stability tradeoffs.
To find your stable adaptive voltage, your 'manual' voltage established has to be stable before the conversion.
Additionally, on adaptive mode it may also depend if the implementation of the C states power management are proper in the BIOS. Or else you'll have to disable some of them if there are stability problems.
Post-adaptive mode, if you find the voltage ramps on load are extreme for your preference, some BIOSes allow use of adaptive with positive or negative offsets.
(I'll encourage you to research more on using adaptive mode but the benefits are temperature than negligible utility bill saving oriented. Better to find out more before experimenting)
Delidding wise you'll have to research abit on the method of popping the cap as this may differ from preference and cost considerations. But they range from
-3D printed/CNC milled tools
-Conventional razer blade delidding
As long as you don't remove the CPU's nickel plated heat spreader, liquid metal application is one-off. It can be DIY'd.
Overall, Kabylake is quite a hot chip the temp numbers you witnessed with the Aussie youtuber are based on low 20C ambient. In the sg climate it will be slightly worse.
