hi and hello.
i have an Acer 4752G and i had been using it for ard 3yrs with no problems until recently.
my laptop would have random shutdowns after watching youtube, videos or some light gaming and it would be quite hot. i thought it was the win 8.1 prob so i did a windows reset to have a fresh start of OS. but still the problem is not solved.
so i installed Speedfan to monitor the temps. it seems that the CPU would rise ard 90'deg after/when watching a video. while if idling, it would be ard 69'deg tops.
did some googling and found out that it might be a thermal paste and heatsink issue.
anyone can advise me on this before i risk myself doing an open surgery on my laptop?
