Hi guys, plan to build a budget rig and have a few qns in mind.

1)Do tradepac/pc theme provide assembly service for rig?

2)Recommendation on specs to support dota2/LOL/CSGO/Skyrim/L4D2. (can my gpu support these games and allow them to run smoothly??)

3)Already gotten my gpu ZOTAC GTX750TI. Budget $450-510 for the remaining components. No need ssd.Need OS.(Looking at i3) *cheaper the better, not particular with the looks of casing*.

G3258 + MSI H81M E35 V2 - 187
8GB DDR3 Kingston 1600Mhz CL11 Valueram - 67
FSP HEXA 450W PSU - 58
WD BLUE 1TB -76
CM N200 - 61
OS: Reddit Microsoft software swap ~~ 30 SGD

Total: 479 (pct price list)

If have G3240 get G3240, my pricelist no g3240. Assemble on your own? PCT charges for assembly. Tradepac provides assembly but hearsay they will makan some of the components/accessory.

At your budget I think even i3 would be hard to fit, and may overshoot slightly (add another 60 to this price) unless you want less than 8gb of ram....

Obviously tradepac would be cheaper if your skin is thick enough to bargain. But do not expect discounts that are too fat like say 100 dollars off 500 bucks of stuff you are purchasing.

Pcthemes if I remember correctly, recall some mentioned that you have to pay around 40 for assembly.

CPU+MB: Intel Core i3-4160 + ASRock H81M-HDS R2.0 @ $239
RAM: Crucial DDR3-1600 CL11 8GB @ $60 (Tradepac)
HDD: Western Digital Blue 1TB @ $77
CASE+PSU: Armaggeddon Microtron T1X [Black] + FSP Hexa+ 550W [80 Plus] @ $89*** (Lazada Singapore)

Total: $465

Or you can choose to upgrade to a true quad core Core i5 for significant boost in minimum fps and also long term benefit for games.

Buy others from PC Themes, #04-15. Haggle for discounts!

***Price after Lazada App $20 off $100 purchase discount coupon [TBA later]

Is there any difference in ventilation btween Armaggeddon Microtron T1X [Black] / CM N200? if so, will it spoil the components in the pc?

T1X seemed to have lesser fan mounts than N200 but it still does comes with relatively adequate ventilation coverage. There's no temperature benchmark for T1X and i've never used before thus cannot provide you a definite answer for that. All i can say is that it won't spoil your PC parts for sure...

You can watch the video review of T1X:

It has 3 front fan mounts, 1 top 1 back.

I feel the filter cut down air flow. But if getting 750ti it shouldn't be a problem

Just be aware that TradePac may tell u certain parts no stock, then psycho u to replace with higher end more expensive alternatives. In the end, may end up spending more than planned. U need to be firm n know your backup options.

Part of its upselling tactics. Maybe will also promote some additional accessories to cross-sell. :D

450w is enough for your gtx750ti but higher is always welcome, cause you might upgrade your gpu and it might need more power.

if the asrock h81m is oos, can try other brands of H81, like Asus H81m-k, MSI H81M-E35 V2. the price diff would just be a few dollar but you must remember to get a MicroATX board cause of the case selected.

On a side note, seems like the build does not include a ODD (Optical Disc Drive), so you will have to use an external drive or thumb drive to install your OS, if not you can look at market place, i think i saw some1 selling at $10 only.

ODD is almost useless nowadays so I will choose not to include one and save up that precious $20-30 to upgrade something else more important. And yep, please install Windows using a thumbdrive burned with Windows DVD ISO.
