Help with building a PC! $1.4k

Hey peeps, this is my first time building a PC. Appreciate all suggestions, guides and stuff. I am looking to overclock my processor and stuff. Please feel free to let me know if the power supply wattage is enough, or if I can maximise the potential of the GPU or is the cooling enough for my CPU.

So here it goes!

Motherboard + CPU: MSI Z77-G45 + 3570k ($472 TradePac)
GPU: EVGA GTX760SC 2GB DDR5 ($400 TradePac)
RAM: 4GB x 4 (From a friend)
PSU: Corsair TX650M 650W Bronze ($129 Fuwell)
CPU Cooler: Corsair H60 High-Performance Hydro Cooler ($109 Fuwell)
HDD: Seagate 1TB 7200rpm ($78 TradePac)
Driver: ASUS 24X DVDRW SATA ($24 TradePac)
Network Adapter: ASUS PCE-N53 Dual-Band WirelessN600 PCI-E Adapter($75)
Case: Thermaltake Chaser A31 Tower Case ($119 Fuwell)
Total: $1406

I'm trying not to go beyond $1400. Im quite budget tight, cause the rest of the money I'm saving to get a 23' IPS Monitor

PSU overkill already, a Seasonic 520W will do.

GPU I personally recommend Gigabyte's 760 if your case is long enough or MSI's Twin Frozr but up to you for GPU.

Since you want to OC I'm assuming you want the best performance for your PC so SSD is a must for you. You need to stretch your budget for that then.

If you don't mind, can switch h60i to conventional after-market HSF like the Xigmatek Gaia, cheaper & about the same temp as that entry level close loop WC.

Total $1425 All from tradepac. Can knock their price down by bargaining further. I'm sure it can go below $1.4k

If you really dont wanna go over 1.4k the best bet is the Palit GTX760 2gb + FSP 550w Raider ~ $399

Save you a good $100. The downside is the warranty for Palit is just 2 years instead of 3.

I will suggest you get your setup from Tradepac.

Change to the following bundle at Tradepac,

GPU & PSU: MSI Twin Frozr & Seasonic M12 620W @ $499
CPU Cooler & Case: Corsair H60 & Corsair 300R @ $188

That should save you about $70.

Ok, now im tempted to Haswell processor haha. Quick question, I was searching online on the MSI Z87-G43 they said that it support CrossFireX but not SLI, anyone knows if it support SLI?
Yea I know that for tradePac their prices are better and stuff. However I heard of people that their products are below the cost price? Correct me if im wrong, Im just scared that they cheat on me and stuff ><

G43 is only Xfire support. No SLI. SLI is the next available board which is the G45 gaming. That one supports SLI and it will burst your budget. That board with a 4670k ~ $507.

They wont cheat you in terms if you follow the price guide. They sell things are without gst. They won't charge you with gst so don't worry. That is why some of their pricings are below the recommended retail pricings.

Just follow the price guide listed on the parts i have mentioned and you cant go wrong. Next is try to ask a discount for it.

If you scared they cheat you, buy the parts and self assemble at home...

If you are planning on SLI, you would need z87-g45 and 750-850w psu..

You don't need an i7. An i5 will do. Drop the Asus board. Is expensive.
