We have a small shop that's closing down soon. Someone is interested to take over the business. I have some enquires:

1. Is there any reliable online resources whereby I can check for the correct procedures to go about it in S'pore?

2. Is there a need to engage a lawyer? I saw online that there are some firms offering $5000 for this service.

3. Any ways to prevent being con?
