Dear All,

Just purchased the crossover 3020mdp via Qoo10. Everything seemed fine until I turned it on - which caused a power trip. I then swapped out the complimentary universal adapter with another to which I got an electric shock when touching the monitor bezel (which is metal). After which the LED on the power brick does not light up anymore. I am unable to turn on the monitor.

  1. Would the described happenings dmg the monitor itself or just the power adapter
  2. As I anticipate the the seller will take sometime to schedule for an exchange, replacement set, troubleshoot etc, is there anyway I can work around the faulty adapter?

Would appreciate if anyone has experienced such issues or point me to any other sites where I can read up on this. Initial google searches seem to have only given me very general information pertaining to my situation.

All help is truly welcomed :)
