Hi guys, just wanna check is this rig good for playing games like COD ghost?

Intel Core i5 3470 & Asrock B75 PRO3 M ~ $314
Powercolor 7950 3gb ~ $318
Crucial 8gb 1600mhz DDR3 Ram ~ $89
Wd blue 1tb ~ $78
Samsung oem drive ~ $21
Reuse case (CM Centurion 5)

Superflower HX600 600w 80+ Gold ~ $109
Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit OEM ~ $115

I see many recommending asrock b75m dgs. whats the difference between b75 pro3 m and b75m dgs?

The amount of sata ports, usb 2.0 and usb 3.0 on both rear port and internal headers.

DGS only got 1 pciex16 slot and 1 pcie slot. And only has 2 ram slots.

To add on. DGS has only 1 SATA 6gbps port and 3 other 3gbps port.

But if you willing to spend till $314 might as well go haswell entry level mobo.

Maybe please indicate what you need and whats your budget.

Which shop is selling 7950 @ $318?
Thanks.

Tradepac

actually why choose b75m dgs instead of b75 pro3 m ?

If you are on a tight budget the b75m dgs will do just fine. Remember gaming relies more on your GPU. Rather you channel that mobo money to a GPU instead. If you channel everything to just mobo it won't bring any form of performance value for gaming.

COD Ghost doesn't require much horsepower despite the hype and so on. The budget can be lowered actually. Totalbiscuit, a famous youtube game reviewer, mentioned that COD Ghost doesn't run well on a 5k system due to optimization issues till date (irony). So a very low end budget should suffice.
