well if ur budget allows, get GTX970, lazada should be cheaper.

As for when there will be huge drop, we ain't sure, it still depends on seller willing to reduce the price when GTX 1070 is out or after some time later.

Give another 1-2 month wait if you are expecting a price drop for current high-end cards.

You should get a new GTX 970, 480GB SSD and 550-600W PSU.

do i need a SSD? i heard from my friend i dont. idk what ssd does :X

you don't need a SSD. but you will want a SSD. in simple terms SSD makes ur computer run faster and load games faster.

if you in a rush to get ur gpu replaced, go lazada and apply SHOPBIG25. $25 off for min purchase of $170. get a GTX970 will be good. if not, wait for 1 month or so and camp in the graphics bazaar for 2nd hand gpus.

thanks for ur advice! another question for gpu whats the difference between 2gb and 4gb?

tl;dr

brief summary : if gaming at 1080p can go for 2GB vram, if anything higher 1440p can go for 4GB vram.

but bear in mind im not saying that 1080p cant use 4GB or 1440p cant go for 2GB; just that there is some wastage and limitations to it.
Some games dun required that much vram and some required even if at 1080p and if at gaming at 1440p will be a few fps slower as they relies on the system ram if vram limits is over 2GB.

Overall still depends on which games u played and which monitor resolution u gaming at.
