Dear All,

I bought a USB OTG cable (Model: S-K07) from PC Zone. The moment I plugged the OTG cable into my phone, it just crashes and will only start up if I remove the OTG cable and the phone battery, re-insert the battery and switch it on again.

Tried googling for solutions but couldn't understand most of the threads/discussions that showed up in the search results.

Downloaded USB OTG helper but it shows the following error message:
"Root access unavailable
su binary not found!
This app will not work"

I wanted to try updating the OS of my phone, but couldn't find the 'System Updates' option in Settings>About Phone.

These are the specifications of my phone and OS:
Android version: 4.0.3
Baseband version: MAUI.11AMD.W11.50.SP.V13.P2
Kernel Version: 3.0.13
Build number: A%1ICS_676C_V1_0_4

I intend to connect a external midi controller to my iNO like in this video

Will any kind soul tell me what to do ?

Cheers,
Ben

just get a microsd card and copy the update zip file to the root of the card and do system update from there. I don't think the ino one supports usb otg.
