Hi all. See attached layout plan. I have floor to ceiling and wall to wall windows in both bedroom 1 and master bedroom. Both the rooms are small.

For bedroom 1, I want super single bed (size in drawing), wardrobe, long table and lots of book shelves. For master bedroom I want queen size bed (size in drawing), large wardrobe, small study table and some cupboards. I prefer window side to be free. But if it not optimal, Im willing for any space saving layout.

Can you give different orientation suggestions to maximine space? See floor plan layout below. Thank you.

Quite good layout. You have ensured enough widths for flow through the house. Dont fall into trap of adding more stuff, makes the house feel congested. Notice you dont have coffee table between sofa and TV. Same with my small place. What I do is put light square modular tables that can be shifted around, to use when watching TV.

Would you consider storage bed, and sofa? Thats what I did.

For Bedroom 1, u have a few options:

  1. Switch the study desk and bed position. Push the bed all the way to the window then push the study desk all the way to the bed. Your study desk and wardrobe will share a common space which u can will sit there when u use the desk or stand to change clothes.
  2. Consider bunk bed. Bed at upper level, desk below. Very good space saving option. Hope your ceiling is high enough.
  3. Relocate wardrobe to the left wall. Rotate the bed 90 degree anti clockwise and push it to the windows. Ex-wardrobe space use as study desk with a stool.
For Master Bedroom,

If you can move the toilet door to the shower area, u have a long wall which opens up to alot more options

2-in 1 ? Can you explain storage bed and sofa? Im using platform bed that has storge in it.
Not 2 in 1. Yes that is what I mean. Ikea also has sofa that can lift up and store things.

Push mattresses in both rooms below the windows.

Can have platform storage under the mattress.

Table and top cabinet between mattress and wardrobe.

Similar layout like this.
