Dear gurus,

I’m planning to get a new rig while reusing some parts from my current rig. Rig will be used for gaming, currently playing Path of Exile and also getting ready for upcoming major MMORPG releases.

Appreciate any and all guidance!

Budget: 1.5k to get the new parts, not inclusive of those to be reused.

Monitor: Qnix 2710, overclocked to 120hz
CPU + MOBO: Recommendations for i5
Cooler: Recommendations
GPU : Recommendations for GTX 1070
RAM : Recommendations for 16GB
HDD : Reusing WD 1 TB Blue
SSD: Reusing Samsung 128GB
PSU: Reusing Superflower 550W
Case: NZXT 340 Elite, recommendations for 2 front fans
OS: Get from Reddit?
Wifi Adapter: If MOBO does not have wifi adapter, will be reusing TP-Link 300mbps, will this bottleneck my speed if I’m running on 1GHZ wifi & should I upgrade this?

Thanks in advance!

Get the next gen cpu. It's out next month.

U don't need a cooler if u not overclocking.

Personally, I tell u to go zotac as its budget. I think u should buy your gpu now by making use of the current qoo10 promo.

Unless u want a specific theme, valueram will do.

Os get from reddit. Education version will do.

Which qnix 2710 is that? I tried 120 but screen goes black. Can do 90 but did not try between 90 to 120 though. Now playing on 85.

anyway just to let you know, beside bottleneck by the max speed on wifi, u also have speed reduce at some point if their is any other radio interference.
