So I want to build a pc. Mainly for gaming and photo editing. Budget around $1.5k to $2k. I'll need everything except mouse and keyboard.

If possible get everything through retail as I hate online shopping

What kind of games do you play? At what resolution, what settings eg. ultra, high, low?

Curious. Why you hate online shopping?

RPG,Shooters,MMOs. Hopefully games like R6S and PUBG too. As for resolution at least 1080 or 2k, High and above if possible

I hate waiting for products to arrive. Faster for me to go to a brick and mortar shop and get my things even if it is a little inconvenient.

Is it possible to go for dual monitor with this build?

GALAX 1070 EX O.C SNPR 8GB, does it make sense to go with a cheaper GTX 1080?

Cheapest GTX 1080 is 800+ and will overshoot your budget.

Also, gaming on 1080p, GTX 1070 is already overkill... Good for future proofing.

GTX 1080 will be more suitable for 1440p or Ultrawides.

hmm thanks for the build advice. Might expand my budget a bit more and get a better screen and an additional hard drive
