I feel both are good PSUs. My recommendation is to go for whichever is within your budget and warranty duration.

Going is one thing, how many sdd/hdd u using, any optical drive, ram, etc etc... while 550w usually enough, can consider get 650w if price diff not much.

How is cooler master PSU? Saw its v series 850W 80+ gold is cheaper than other's 650W PSU.

Sent from OnePlus 5T using GAGT

I've used Coolermaster's PSU long time back. It's OK, but the rig wasn't very power hungry. Coolermaster is not known for their PSU, so not many will recommend. After all, I don't think they make their own PSU so it's likely some OEM PSU that they slapped their brand on.

See the price difference. With power requirements going up, will be safe to get 650W. I was using a Seasonic G550 and it works very well for me. I recently changed to a 750W after upgrading my graphic card.
