Hi guys,

Will be visiting Tokyo with my wife in late November. We're in our mid-30s, first time in Tokyo. Have put together a rough itinerary.

Sun 22 Nov
- arrive Haneda approx. 6.15am
- airport limousine bus to hotel at Shinjuku to drop off luggage (estimate should be done by about 9am?)
- Harajuku (Meiji Shrine / Yoyogi Park, Takeshita Street, Omotesando)
- Shibuya
- Shinjuku (Shinjuku Gyoen, Kabukicho)

Mon 23 Nov
- Asakusa (Kaminari Gate, Sensoji Temple, Asakusa Shrine)
- Ueno Park
- Tokyo National Museum

Tue 24 Nov
- Tsukiji Market
- Imperial Palace / Imperial East Gardens
- Yasukuni Shrine
- Ginza

Wed 25 Nov
- DisneySea

Thu 26 Nov
- Hakone (overnight in Hakone)

Fri 27 Nov
- Gotemba Premium Outlets

Sat 28 Nov
- ??
- Depart Tokyo from Narita in evening

Any comments on the itinerary above please? Will also need suggestions on good food/places to eat to fit into the itinerary. Thanks in advance!

Shinjuku Gyoen closes early at about 4.30pm.
Seems they arent open on some days too.

Hakone still has the volcanic warning so cant access parts of hakone.

You may wanan go Icho Namiki Icho Namiki (Ginkgo Avenue) since you nearby Shinjuku and Harajuku.

I'm also will be going Omotesando on 22nd, having my dinner at Ukai-tei. :D

Since you got 3 nights in Tokyo, can go winter illumination as well.

Shiodome Caretta, Tokyo Midtown are my recommendation.

You won't be able to finish so many places within 1 day. Shibuya and Shinjuku are already large areas to cover on its own. Plus I spent nearly 2hrs just walking around Shinjuku gyoen. It's a pretty large place. You could probably aim for Meiji Shrine + Takeshita dori + part of Omotesando + Shibuya. But I seriously doubt you will have much time left for Shinjuku after all that...unless you really didn't really spend much time at any of the shops. Just at Tokyu Hands store at Shibuya, I already spent at least 1hr there.

Mon 23 Nov

Note that ropeway to Owakudani is closed due to underground volcanic activity at Mt Hakone for the past couple of months.

Fri 27 Nov
- Gotemba Premium Outlets
