Hi all,

Anyone can help?
I am trying to upgrade my Tab 7.7 from ICS to Jellybean, but my PC cannot detect my tab in download mode, but able to detect my tab in normal mode. It will show as Unknown device...

Any ideas?

I have tried to install the Samsung USB drivers, changed cable, but to no avail.

Appreciate any help.

Do one of the following:

1. Uninstall everything included with KIES. Clean your Windows' registry on your PC. Try CCleaner first. If not try one with a deep registry cleaning function. Reinstall KIES BEFORE plugging in your device again.

2. Choose another computer that has never had KIES installed before, and complete the (KIES) installation, run KIES all BEFORE plugging in your device.

Tried step 2, doesn't work.

try uninstalling the device from device manage in control panel -> system
then with the device in download mode, plug in to your pc, shut down the pc.
power up pc and let it goes into windows. check your device manager if the drivers are installed properly.
