man made event?

maybe its something to do with puddin korkor or the iran/Israel nukes?

We will never know. It can even be a complete opposite for Russia. Hitler also never expect reverse situation in Soviet

And Who knows? Maybe a freak election result in sg?

Well, if the event was man-made, the only plausible scenario I can think of would be something like an underwater pipeline explosion, which could potentially trigger a ripple effect. However, even that seems unlikely to cause such a massive disturbance.

A terrorist attack also doesn’t make much sense here, targeting a remote area of the Pacific isn’t typical for most terrorist motives. They usually aim for high-visibility targets, and pulling off such a catastrophic event without any claim of responsibility would be extremely difficult.

Given the circumstances, a natural disaster, like an underwater volcanic eruption or tectonic plate movement, seems far more plausible.

Maybe can cut off internet lines underwater cable

Rogue countries get away all the time. Dun say Russia invasion of another sovereign countries. Even something as big as Covid crippling the world for few years also no need take responsibility.

Or maybe it can be as big as 2-3 grc won.

No. 2 days ago china embassy issued warning on jpn likely mega quake in coming months

Actually based on science, accurate early prediction of a major earthquake is not possible, so I dunno why there is a warning from the embassy and what is that based on. If it happens, it is most likely political

Earthquakes do not follow a fixed cycle either.

The only thing that is true is that the pressure do build up over time, so yes there is indeed increased risk over the next 30 years

Based on things that can’t be explained by science aka the comic artist, then that is a different story. Who knows she may be right

You meant the advisory below 50kg will get blown away so the bbfas in edmw will be very safe piece of news?

Even japan themselves believe it will happen:

Why It Matters

Last month, an earthquake task force formed by the Japanese government issued a risk assessment report, which estimated that up to 298,000 people could be killed in a Nankai Trough megaquake with a magnitude of 8-9, including 215,000 deaths caused by tsunami waves.

Yes they need to prepare for it just in case, as there is increased risk over the next 30 years. They believe it may happen.

The other countries who are not preparing for it are the ones you need to worry, as death tolls will be very high

Wah....means the land mass beneath...the plate rose up from being squeezed possibly.
Imagine the water displaced....goes elsewhere around....many coastal areas will be flooded gao gao.
Heard in video...taiwan wont be affected much by tsunami....high mountains?

Some terrorist try to wake up the volcano? Some on reddit say impossible, it's inert and extinct for millions of years. Then again, everyone has their own opinions and theories.
We shall see when it comes. :o So far didn’t see mention about terrorists but more like leftover weapons in the region.

Some people watch for entertainment, some watch for prevention, some people don’t bother don’t believe. I happened to know when my TW gf told me this and showed me the videos lor. Then I feel uneasy because it sounds like a huge disaster and Japan ish a country I like, of course I don’t want this to happen.
