CoolerMaster Hyper 101 $29

Just bought one from Bizgram. Labelled PWM but when opened the box and took it out it's a 3-pin. Feel cheated. Whoever's going to buy this please watch out!

must check that the thermal paste is not dried up... and that your heatsink is not choked full of dust...

u need to change to a 3rd party cooler.. the cheap cm101 is ok.. i am using it..

but if ur rig is like 2 yrs or more.. u might have to doing abit of cleaning and renewing of the paste.

Not even 3 years old but I'm using stock. Past few months my pc has been crashing/hanging and after some checks I've come to realise that it's because my cpu temp when idling is at 50+ and when running some processes it goes to 90+! So decided to just try changing the heatsink (that's why bought this Hyper 101) to see if it helps.

I don't overclock so I think this is sufficient for me.
