HID headlight

I am thinking to change to HID headlight. Can I know the market rate? Is HID approved by LTA? Thank

My advice..don't.
Upgraded Headlights draw large power, and likely hotter.

If your existing wiring isn't able to cater for the increased current and heat.... prepare a few canisters of fire extinguishers, just in case..:s22:

Yes. Also watch out those spot check during the night road block.

If reflector lamp then don't bother. I install HID too bright so I tint black front headlights to reduce brightness. Of cos I did this to 9 yr old car so no inspection haha.

I did the same. Haha... kena 2x LTA love letter that somebody complained my lights too bright...no fines, the pax probably scared to provide particulars.

The reason I want to change is because my stock light very dim. Switch on and off no difference...can't see in dark places

Bulbs do get dimmer as they age. Do get it checked also. Don't think stock is that bad.. Unless u are comparing the brightness with a 10k lumen HID.
Anyway, it's so brightly lit in SG.. Don't need la..

HID is not to shine the roads, it's to tell the bugger road hogging infront of gtfo of my way :X

Pls dun use hid to blind others and let them crash into your car.

use those for high beam or fog light better. if normal low beam is HID then other road users can't gauge the distance from them to you accurately :s22: and you'll blind everyone, even those in other lanes :s22:
