Hi there FeedBack Team,

Im experiencing high CPU load 20%-30% when in HWZ.
(R click on desktop, click on gadgets and use CPU meter to monitor)

Even when switch to other site's tab and leave just 1 HWZ tab idling in background, CPU still running 20-30%.

After closing HWZ site tab, but with other websites on browser. CPU load goes back to normal 2-5%

Have eliminated other scenarios and pinpoint in on HWZ site.
Weird, as it didnt used to be like that.
Any idea what could be the main cause?

Firefox (21.0) user here.

Still trying to toggle about settings and figure out, will update necessary

Not sure if the below thread started might be of help -

Cheers!

im quite sure it's because of the "Marine life park" ad. without that particular ad, cpu usage will be normal

Yes, i guess it depends on which particular ad as well. Sometimes the load is 20-30% on cpu sometimes 15-20% constant.

Best part is even when switched to other website tabs, load still doesnt go down unless HWZ tab is closed....

In the past, it merely spiked up alittle while then dropped back to normal range 5-10%, can even open 5-8 hwz tabs w/o any problems

I actually disable my flash player plugin when in HWZ. And the load is normal.

FF (21.0),
Flash player Ver. 11.7.700.202

Maybe its their new coding for ads or layout on their side.

Hi is there anyway to disable the TV and twitter stream below?

now the CPU loads ish even higher...this is esp so for laptops...a few tabs and it goes to 100% with an increase in CPU temp....

PS: Crowdynews

Dear Member,

We have identified Crowdynews as the likely source of the increased load speed and are working on solutions to it.
