High Latency (Black ops 3)

Is anybody experiencing high ping in black ops 3 multiplayer games? Are there any solutions to this? I am constantly getting 200-300 ms which is really frustrating. Any help will be appreciated.

High chance your ping to the server connected to host the game is a bit too far. Unless it is a server located in SG.

But either way, might wanna do a speed test at speedtest.net and see how much are you getting.

Also furthermore you will need to try ping test with local sites using cmd prompt and see if there is a bad latency.

Another reason for bad latency is cable point from outside going into your house. But lets solve things 1 at a time first.

No matter what, COD lowest ping I can go to in Singapore is 90+ - 150. That is the best alr, if not normally is 200+ 300. Their servers are either in japan or USA.

I've posted on BO3 forums and have heard that the dedicated servers are mostly down so a few hosts are out of the region. Maybe that's the cause for the high ping..

I am on Singtel Fibre for a very long time liao, last time still make noise with singtel for about a month and we private convo for damn long, do alot of troubleshooting all this, in the end also cant do anything.

This was in BO2, Ghost and AW era. I gave up on BO3.

there are no dedicated servers on PC for singapore

nearest one is in australia or japan. was going to buy it on PC but luckily saw this a few days ago :|

All COD especially BO2 & BO3, no local servers.

Why play the game where Japanese, Korean, Chinese(China) or Taiwan owns you everytime? Always get owns by one bullet and the time to kill is too slow where you die first. It doesn't matter even you are running 1Gbps internet.

Sometimes it will connect you to a local host if someone is hosting a match in "Open" mode where the local public can connect.

So, it's doing a P2P connection. It's just loads of clowns(supporters) keeps saying it a Dedicated Server, no P2P.

Most of the one in forums are connected to Servers but for others, they are high pings or running P2P.

I did not purchase the game, not anymore and no more COD. It's finale.

What I can say is for BO2, no lag no stutter. All super smooth. It's time to kill factor against Japanese, Koreans... where the damage factor is too high or they see you like a stupid noob standing still for them to shoot. In some cases, when you aim at them, they will stutter or teleport away which makes your aim difficult.

In my judgment for BO3 will be the same.

I have bo2 and i give up on bo due to high latency issue.

Last time when i was using ST(200Mbps), i get as high as 150++ ping. Need to melee people twice in order to kill them. Because of this, i quit mp and my mp level is 1.

No need for high-end PC.

I have one low-end and one higher-end PC. Both suffer from Time To Kill Factor. Although higher-end PC helps (very little), it's still the same.
