High precision event timer

I read that disabling high precision event timer in bios and windows can improve games fps,
input/output, micro sturttering and dpc latency (nvidia cards) . I disabled mine in windows, only slight improvements. I further disabled it in bios,
still monitoring the result. Any opinions on this ?

Well i'm currenttly playing an old game xcom enemy unknown/within, it's running well regardless of
on/off high precision event timer in bios. Also i'm using custimised for gaming os.

try reducing quality

I'm using high performance instead of high quality in my windows setting.
