Due to the recent $100 qoo 10 coupon, I'm wondering if I should go for the msi 1070 gaming, or zotac 1080.

Difference is about $200.

I wanted to just get the cheapest 1070, but the $100 coupon has a minimum spend of $600, this the higher end of 1070 coming into play.

I'm using a qnix 2710 on 1440p, and I think I'll only be playing battlefield 1 when I buy it maybe in the coming weeks.

Will appreciate any thoughts on the subject matter.

Thanks all!

-face palm-

though TS is buying a palit or asus GTX 1080 and end up its GTX 1070 vs 1080.... (WHAT >.>)

anyway if u playing with dual screen still best just get GTX 1080. but if u are using a single screen for game and another for other stuff can get GTX 1070)

PS: GTX 1070 isnt GTX 1080 lower end, its just a little brother...if u are saying higher end gtx 1080 is like u saying Titan X as well.

Omg yes i deserve to be face palmed. Typed it half sleepy.

Should be higher end 1070 or lower end 1080.

But yeah, only one screen. Ok I'll look at the 1070. I was trying to say lower or higher end cuz of the different brand pricing.

So meaning the cheaper Palit, Zotac 1080, will beat all MSI. ASUS 1070 etc hands down?

Go 1080. Just get the cheapest one. they all pretty much overclock the same anyway. Only difference with the big bucks 1080s is they're factory overclocked for you, and maybe just a little quieter

lower end or higher end??

GTX1070 is just a GTX1070 no matter how 'low' or 'high' end they are

same goes to GTX1080

TS it depends whether your monitor is 60 hz or higher. 1070 for 2k is enough for 60fps.but if you want to game at 120 or 144 then better get 1080
