My experience so far

--Pros--
Very good image quality
Good color accuracy, will be even btr with calibration
Decent price
Backlighting, brightness and contrast can change easily.
Can change to English
Chinese apps like youku, tencent is weirdly more smooth than my PC.
Good Black Level

--Cons--
No Real 3rd party app support, eg: chrome, mx player.
Apks like es file explorer, vlc player works.
No local warranty
No dvb t2 support
Lousy viewing angle. Color shift is real.

Word of advice: Do not install Google play services. Otherwise, it may soft brick your tv.

Backlighting: Preference
Contrast: 53
Brightness: 52
Saturation: 50
Sharpness: 0
Dynamic Contrast: off
Noise Reduction: off
Gamma: Dark

Can't deny there is some correlation between price and quality but thats not saying cheap is definitely bad. My hisense 50k321 is about 2 and 1/2 yrs counting and still working fine. Brands like hisense, tlc and vizio are popular in the US because they offer great value for money. On the other hand, locally we have become so used to having our carrot heads chopped by those big korean and japanese brands. So when a much cheaper alternative comes along, we just naturally assume it must be lousy or question whats the catch for such a cheaper price.

Well said ~ while each to his own, there is no really right or wrong, my personal value system is to strike a balance between priority vs cost of spending (Higher cost of goods fr higher prority, lower cost fr lower priority.)

we are so used to spending top $$$ on everything, driving up the cost of living (& stress of living), driving out demand (& also availability) on lower cost goods.

Lastly each to his own ~ many had stereotype mindset is must branded goods otherwise felt xia~suay.

新加坡消費者容易俾大陸商家搵笨，因為點？因為大多數消費者貪方便，又貪一時之光芒嘛。。。 如果佢地肯嗮些時間，多多行走，多多睇下，多多研究。。。佢地就知其實要平要靚又夠正，唔係無嘅。
