Hitachi NAS capacity by half

Hi need some expect device on my HDD issue.

My PC is running on 4TB WD red HDD and give me no problem. Recently someone recommend me Hitachi HDD 4TB NAS but my system only allow me to use 2TB even though I can see total 4TB. Other issue is that it will restart my PC and my boot disk is not able to detect my disk.

Can some one tell me how to overcome this?
Is this my HDD issue or PC issue?
Can this Hitachi HDD be fully utilize if I put in synology NAS?

I can see the total 4TB . Only 2TB is selected for me to create new volume and the other 2 TB has no other for me to chose. I can't even deltree the first 2TB that allow me to create the new volume
