I flew recently. The pasta they served was really The seashell shaped pasta with nothing but tomato sauce.

Anyway, Airticketsonsale has flights from year end to next year April. Maybank promo at $278 net.

Anyone knows if I fly by scoot. The airport taxes are already paid for right? Do I have to pay for anything else?

OMG i was so anticipated abt it but after hearing abt it, i feel nah HAHAHA.

To me, food wise CX and SQ not much different. CX pasta also not that nice anyway...

Anyway, CX got more non-AVOD IFE planes (especially older B772 and A330 planes) than SQ (only 1 plane bearing the number 9V-SRH).

took recently the SQ857 777-200, the video so grainy really bad for eyes. Think must be one of those aged plane. The best screen still A380 big and clear.

Hmm... That's why I always check what plane it uses when booking flights. For SQ, A380, A330 and B777-300ER (77W) (except the 3 newest planes) uses the big and clear screen.

The newer B777-300ER (77WN) (registration no. 9V-SWU, 9V-SWV and 9V-SWW) uses the even clearer bigger screen (with touchscreen), but unfortunately those are not used for HKG flights (only certain LHR and NRT flights at the moment)...

The rest like B777-200, B777-300 (non-ER) I'll try to avoid (unless no choice)...

I bought before. I think the seat selection is only open when you're about to check in.
