the dates and timing plays a role too
hence, you might find booking earlier might be more expensive than booking one month in advance, sometimes ...

You need to make sure you fulfill the T&C, and also only flights for certain timings (even if same day) will warrant different price. Choose a popular timing flight and you'll find that the price jumps. The cheap sale fare is usually some afternoon or even evening flight.

They have started to increase price for better flight timing ...
For the good promo fare, SQ have $ 236.40 this year .
Fly before end March ...

However timing is the evening fly, morning fly back .
They have twice promo of such , this year already ...

For the good promo fare, SQ have $ 236.40 this year .

Ya, most regular airlines are doing this now. So it depends on whether you choose one extra night of accommodation for cheaper airticket (good for those who go for nightlife, actually), or more expensive air ticket but save on one extra night of accommodation.

Some regular airlines won't allow you to choose seats if you are buying their promo tickets. So far SQ still allows for seat choice upon booking even with promo fares.. hopefully they will continue with this. =/

Finnair many donkey years ago don't allow choosing of seats for promo fares liao. But at least travellers have the option to buy the seat if they dowan to wait till 48hrs before departure. Cathay is.. you got money want to pay for seat oso don't have the option.
