now i figured out how it works ...
the 99% discount is the fare ... not fare + taxes ...
is better to choose more expensive ticket, as you would get higher discount

Not all airline taxes are the same.
Still the one that got the SQ promo is damn good.
I waited too long and the promo slipped.

I rmb when I select my travel dates, sq and cx didnt appear ...
I only have mh and ua to choose from ..

However, when I checked back the same dates yesterday night, SQ and cathay appeared, however the price was 300+ ... not sure is it because they have a limit, such as the flight if is more than 300sgd, then they wont appear for the 8min promo ...

your cathay should be around 244sgd if i am rite
the person who managed to book the sq at 94sgd, the original price should be 255+ sgd

if is budget, would say is expensive ...
but if u need to fly, then have to fly ...

have seen few promo by jetstar during feb or mar period ...
can fly 5 to 9 aug promo ...
forgotten got HK or not


rmb SQ 70 anniversary promo, can fly Jul to Sep
Bkk $170, KL $70, Taipei $370, all have your travel dates...
however no Hk in that promo ...

$300 is close to their promotion price. ~$20 more than their promotion price.

It depends on whether are people are going out on National Day. I remember during SG50, when they announced extra PH, air tickets and hotel prices immediately shot up because many booked a long holiday and go overseas.

Even go Malaysia cost a bomb that year.

Since this year's National Day doesn't fall on a weekend, I think that pricing is reasonable.
