think is abt 278 to hk in dec ...
cx that time promo taipei in dec is 478
seoul is 658

Managed to book United Airlines to HKG Return for $298 for Countdown. Anyone taken this flight before can share how is it? First time on a US Plane.

first time i hear take UA to HKG.
i took to USA years ago and i guess with the google results, my friends comments and own experience, it was a no frills airline (on economy flights at least).

guess price ok bah.

bkk 69sgd, phuket 67sgd, hcm 56sgd, taipei 57sgd lol .. save alot

nah this year jetstar 3 member sales, saved alot from there lol...
overall, this year jetstar price overall is cheaper than scoot alot
timing is good aslo haha ... scoot more comfortable agree but timing nt gd

My first time on UA to HKG too. Rarely book this ticket cos they hardly had $300 ticket. mostly are all $414 or $500 Plus, one flight a day with a 0545 Departure from SIN and arrive in HKG at 0950, and 2140 Departure from HKG and Arrive in SIN at 0140. Routing is SIN-HKG-ORD, ORD-HKG-SIN.

Most of the travel blogs on UA HKG are 2013, 2012. Hardly people travel on this airline i guess.

yup, ua normally 400 to 500+
lesser ppl fly with them, coz cathay always have promo 238sgd onwards
sq also have 250+ two way nett taxes in
like this year have booked 235sgd fly sq by airbus a380 in nov ...
y pay more when u can fly 5 stars airline with more timing to choose ...

May I know where did you book your UA tickets at?

I know Expedia has it at around $288 but when I tried booking an hour ago, the fare was no longer available. :(

Booked thru Expedia. I guess i got the last ticket at $288. My friends booked at $301.
