If wan use bank loan, can hiew lan tis hle right?

Yes but u need to produce a bank approval in principle letter during signing of lease agreement..

STEP 2: APPLY FOR A MORTGAGE LOAN
- If you plan to take an HDB housing loan, you must have a valid HDB Loan Eligibility (HLE) Letter when booking a flat.
- If you are taking a bank loan, please approach any financial institution to find out the amount you can borrow. You must produce a valid Letter of Offer before signing the Agreement for Lease.

No, are you sure?

Self employed?

Grant will ask for 12 months of consecutive payslip and i think cpf contribution statement prior to application while hle will ask for latest 3 months or so of payslip and cpf statement.

Those odd job, part-time, contract basis, in and out of work, between jobs, etc, will find it a chore to apply for HLE loan. HDB will request for a lot of documents and paper trail. Even ask to see your bank balance.

just curious.

last year i applied HLE and the loan egibility amount was 336,100
this year i applied again and this time it is 289,700

there's no significant difference in our pay within this 1yr and we didn't take up any other loans.

any other factors that could affect the amount?

Age.

The older u get, the shorter your loan tenure (loan period), thus maximum amount get smaller as you gets older, if all else remains the same.

My HLE just got approved. Combined income close to $10k. Loan given almost $600k. But process took almost 3 weeks to approve.

Interestingly I asked one of my senior colleague. Told me when he applied for his HDB almost 10 years back, he was given a similar loan amount based on his $6k salary.

Nowadays HDB so stingy ah?

Last time dont have MSR and TDSR.
Government intro cooling measure to ensure people dont over commit on the loan side.

Anyone know if i can dont add my partner's salary? My salary alone should be enough for the loan according to the calculator. His job doesnt have cpf contribution and it is just part time job.. really hard to get payslips. We pretty much have given up asking for the payslips..

Under the mom regulations, from 1st April all employers must issue itemised pay slips to employees covered under the Employment Act.

Pt or ft all must have payslip.

Hi Guys,

Just a quick qns.
Please correct me if im wrong.
Supporting document needed for HLE
1. 3 mnths payslip or recent letter from employer.
2. If salary includes transport allowance etc, 12 mnths payslip needed.
3. 15 mnths CPF contribution

Is that all? do i need to submit my vehicle loan details?

Please advise.
Many Thanks!
