Anyone has experience with this Deferment? There's no information on how to apply or any procedures... Only the eligibility conditions. So if anyone has experience with this, please kindly share the procedure to get this deferment. Really appreciate it!

Like what it says. If u satisfied the criteria, they will assess ur income when closer to key collection. No need apply anything.

If u wanna be sure that u falls under the deferred income, just send hdb a mail or give them a call to cfm.

hello~~ I understand that for purchase of resales under Non-Citizen Spouse Scheme, only the income from the Singaporean will be taken into consideration for maximum loan amount.

Can i check if any of you guys managed to appeal to HDB for the income from the NC spouse to be taken into consideration? Thanks!

Can, but how can you be so sure how much you can afford before knowing full well on where your financial stands?

How can u be sure you can afford after 3 years (if bto) even if u apply now

you wont be sure but you can make sure you start saving up some cash incase you cant afford the flat again during key collection.

during the selection, they will show you an estimated loan amount and your monthly installment amount. if you dont go jobless or get a new job that pay less than now, most probably the loan amount will be the same

Can, but u can't get HDB loan when key collection. And have to pay 20% downpayment at 2nd appointment

Option 1. Submit an HLE Application.
Option 2. Retrieve a draft HLE application to submit your electronic signature and/ or submit supporting documents. more info icon
Option 3. Apply for an HLE letter (for credit assessment before the key collection of your new flat).

So for selection of hdb, we only need to do option 1?

Example scenario to purchase BTO:

Unit A $250,000: Within budget, building complete in 1 year
Unit B $300,000: Can afford if accumulate (cpf) within a couple of months until complete build in 1 year

Let's say my current Loan + Cash + CPF is $250,000
Would it be safe to say I can pick Unit B during first appointment and accumulate my cpf/cash until the block is complete?

At which stages do we really need to pay the remaining cost?

For all i know during 1st appointment we need to pay OTP.
For 2nd appointment (which is 4 months after 1st appointment) is when we need to pay downpayment, stamp duties and legal fees.

Thanks for the help guys!

Can I check is it necessary for both Husband and Wife to apply for HLE?
If the house is 400k, and we intend to pay 200k in cash.
The HLE can just be applied under one person income right?

Hle is take both income. Hle is the max u can loan, that doesn't mean u need to loan that much.

Some fall under deferred income scheme. So their actual loan amount will only be known when they apply hle again b4 key collection

Hi all..

My 1st HLE application managed to get 159k,which is insufficient. Back then my husband was working as a sub-con with fixed mthly payments but no CPF contribution.

Since then, my husband has found a higher paying job with CPF contributions and there has been an increase in my pay as well.

Our bto probable completion date is May 2019. I will be getting an increment in April 2019. Should I reapply HLE now or after my pay increment in April?

Is there any hope of HDB loan of 300k?
