Have you tried googling for information? Just coming in here and asking your question w/o any background info sorta reeks of laziness.

The JR pass covers the fare between Tokyo->Hokkaido, but takes about 10 hours and 3x change of trains.

A "Yokoso Japan" fare between Tokyo and Sapporo costs 10k yen provided you're taking Star Alliance airlines (eg JAL)

Budget airlines between cost about 5-8k yen.

You're welcome.

The best and most economical way to hokkaido is don't go. Your question is too general, how you expect forum ppl to help you. If this is the attitude you have, no one will bother to answer your queries.

Change your attitude before we talk and scolding ppl a dick show how well you are brought up
