Hello everyone! Happy new year!

Im planning to bring my parents to hokkaido, Sapporo in March! Appreciate any recommendations on accomdation, attractions and food ๐Ÿ˜ Its my first time planning a trip for them and i really want this to work out!

They are both in their mid 40s. They enjoy scenic attractions more than shoppings. Enjoy family bonding, new experiences.

Anyone have any recommendations pleaseee? ๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿ˜„

*Update*
Hehehe so sorry!! Wasnt clear with my trip details previously. We will be going from 16th to 24th March, So about 9d8n. Nope, will not be driving.
Regarding about budget, im fine to work around it. Not the highend kind but More around the mid-range will be good.

I have plans to visit Asahiyama Zoo & The historic village of Hokkaido (Kaitaku no Mura).

They are the kind of parents that love plants and likes fishing ๐Ÿ˜‚ so if there's any flower sea kinda thing going on around will be great. I think i will leave out fishing ๐Ÿ˜…

Hope the post is much detailed now... Let me know if i should provide anymore details ๐Ÿ™ˆ๐Ÿ™ˆ๐Ÿ™ˆ

Try the sticky. Compilation of trip reports.

Itโ€™ll be better if you could share more details. No of days, sticking only to Sapporo (or including other locations?), driving (?) and places youโ€™re or theyโ€™re interested in.

Check Japan guide also. https://www.japan-guide.com/list/e1101.html

Your question so vague without any details, lots of us won't bother answering cos it might end up wasting our time typing long long and recommending activities that you totally don't want to do or won't be able to do given your budget, timeline, etc.

My first time to Hokkaido, so im not sure how far Sapporo is to the others. And is moving around convenient? As i download the metro map of hokkaido, looks convenient but unsure on how long it takes from one stop to another...

Can consider this if you guys are keen. But itโ€™ll end on 17 March. Best to stay there overnight. Itโ€™ll be very cold. Not too sure about March weather but we encountered whiteout on our visit in February last year, the temperature was -15ยฐC.

this is so cool....visited once years back and the lightings made the place "magical" and was freezing my toes off :s13:

to enjoy this park to the max is to stay overnight and also enjoy the onsen after a cold walk.
