which ski resort is very subjective because of the price, comfort and so son, think its better to look thru and decide yourself.

getting to ski resort is extremely easy, there are tons of shuttle that goes from new chitose airport to niseko and they will stop by the major resorts ( i stayed at a "hostel and the hostel will also provide transport to pick you up at the niseko areas)

13 dec should be already in season although snow might not be that much best to check the forecast.

think there are many resort offering jetski. can checkout skijapan.com for more info

any sapporo 100 plus minus hotel to intro

Sapporo city area difficult unless Susukino aka red light district but not very jialat type, try toyoko inn, other than that minimum per night $150

No necessary to rent full set unless you decide to ski from the mountain top. If not either snowboard or ski and ski pole will do. Jackets, gloves I believe you should have. Goggles is depend on individual, if not just wear shades as the sunlight reflect on the snow is very glaring and do apply UV protection

Yes apparently Niseko snowfall is heavier, furano is about 9m in average where as Niseko about 12m. But when no one know and will this happen no one know again.

As winters are coming and many ppl planning to ski in Hokkaido, do check out this website for more info where you can ski in hokkaido and whats the rating and review like and choose from there.

within Niseko there are 3 ski areas; I am considering btw Hirafu and Hanazono; which is recommended? Heard that Hirafu has more village feel and more night activities (night skiing a well) but Hanazono is only day skiing. But there's snow park and some snowmobile activities there as well?

any suggestions?

i went to both Hirafu and Hanazono this year. there is free shuttle linking this two area. for the other 2 more area at leaf village and annpuri you will need the united lift pass. Hirafu is much bigger whereas Hanazono is more friendly for beginner as the slope is less steep if i remember correctly.
