Holiday in Pakistan

Anybody tried travelling in pakistan before? Hw was it? Heard they have many beautiful historic sites and mughal empire architecture,like shalimar gardens etc. Spoke with a Pakistani taxi driver the other day,he told me that Lahore and Islamabad is safe. Terrorist attacks happen mostly at border near Afghanistan? Wad r ur views guys? Tkx!
