Hi, does anyone knows what's the use of double tapping of the home button?

only disabled people use assistive touch. ******* lame 9/10 people i obesrve has this irritating button on their screen.

No la. I prefer using the assistive buttons because physical buttons will wear and tear much faster. Imagine the number of times one pressed on the home button per day. I used them for lock screen and mute as well.

Starting from the iPhone 5s the home button is much more reliable. I've had my iPhone 6 Plus for more than a year now and the button has no problem. I can say it will work until you need to buy the next iPhone. My iPhone 4 started having unresponsive issues before the 6 month mark. I guess apple is tired of people exchanging their set because of the button.

All the iPhones that I've used: 3Gs, 4s & now 6+, the home button never gave me any problems. 3Gs & 4s - each phone I used for about 3 yrs, home button never wore out.

Hahaha....i see....i do got it some time and thought my phone got problem and didn't care much as it doesn't happen often. Finally now knew is for this reason. Luckily didn't bring it for diagnostic, else waste time and kena malu also...
