Hi guys,

I was using Aztech 200mbps home plugs and recently bought two more TP Link 500mbps home plugs.

After installing the TP Link home plug frm my Asus RTN-15U, i was unabe to connect to the network via my Aztech home plugs. So i swapped out the Aztech and tried connecting via TP Link and it was functioning alright but slow. Unhappy with the speed, I elected to swap all home plugs back to my old Aztechs. This time round, there were no more signal and the "IP add not configured" message was flagged out in the windows troublehooter.

I tried turning off the power of the router and fibre optics but only the wireless from my Aztech works. The network lights in all home plugs no longer illuminate.

Any body can help?

Try to reset both the TP Link homeplug (to randomize from factory settings) & Aztech homeplug. Then use TP-Link homeplug as "master" and have Aztech to pair with TP-Link. See if that helps

Resetting? The utility program cannot detect the home plugs, the power and ethernet light is on, but the network light isnt. I tried hard reset on router n fibre modem, but i dont think the home plugs can do reset.

go read up the manual on the small black button of your aztech 200 and the "pair" button of your tp-link homeplug (assuming you are using the TL-PA4010). or see how to regenerate a different security key for your TP-Link homeplug.
hope this helps

my question is, what homeplug brands do you guys recommend?

I use aztech and the experience has been so far good. There's a new brand named Sineoji which many recommend it too. :)
