Hi i'm debating whether to get a media player or PC to use as the hub of my media centre. The rig will be purely for media and no gaming. As reasonably good media players are around $300-$400.

Is it possible to get a equal if not better PC for that price.


Any help is greatly appreciated !

A PC will be more flexible since u can run new programs to support future formats.

Also, u can add TV tuner cards to the PC if u need to watch TV or record TV programmes.
