I think they're considerable for movies and some say the benefit of sound coming directly from (behind technically) the screen is ideal. (Also centres can then be easily placed vertical and directly at ear level which seems optimal in placement). Its probably a small matter this but im kinda digging the cleaner front look too.

Some arguments for inwalls.

Sub position kinda obstructing aisles why not front or front/back diagonal corners. Anyway experiment which is best position for you. Can consider on-wall speakers for LCR too. Also budget for some room treatments. I sit against wall and found audio sounds cleaner After placing 2 bolsters stacking up behind my head. Free treatment đŸ˜‚

Yah will test around.. cos i heard dual subs at 1/2 sidewalls facing in also usually a good position and since nearer to listening position means maybe i can feel the rumble more power without turning it up higher and potentially affect neighbours lol idk. Otherwise front and back diagonal is a high possibility too.

Youre right about onwalls for LCR too. Been contemplating as probably more brand choices and also no need to spend extra $$$ for accoustic projector screen

Accoustic treatment later stage slowly introduce.. but behind me is curtains lol

I think... On wall speakers usually not big enough to crossover effectively at 80hz with low distortion. Better to put big bookshelf speakers close up to wall then let the room correction software Auto EQ. Bookshelf Speakers on stands also easier to toe in whatever angle (mine around 15deg).

On bookshelf vs floor standing speakers.
I always think small foot print get bookshelf. When I did that, I notice the space it’s taking up no difference from a floor speaker! Generally floor better performance and no need to worry bookshelf falling off.

Remember taller speakers also have a higher CG so be careful if you have kids
Having bass generated from it means you also have to be more diligent in adjusting the room EQ and most buyers aren't doing more than pressing the auto-EQ button and hoping for the best...

Ooh yesterday replugged my two subwoofers into one power strip and also changed avr as well as tv power source from belden surge protector to another cheap power strip, where I plug my router and modem, and the sound just improved big time. Also changed lg c1 tv hdmi earc setting to passthrough instead of auto. Now my system sounds perfect. No need to change speakers anymore. Haha. Wah oled is really good especially when there was a welding scene in a movie where the sparks were flying up close... just spectacular!

Done up! heheheh

Video - Ok pleased

Quality seems great (jvc nz3).. HDR vids do pop and looks better than i thought (knowing its worse off than LED/OLEDs). During bright scenes, i don't miss my oleds at all...
However one thing that is a big downside is blacks...

Audio - overall very happy

Overall surprised finding the yamaha AVR's DSP - Cellar Club better sounding to me than the Surround upmixes (i.e, dsurr or 3dauro) for all content. Vocals seems alot fuller in this dsp mode and surround is still very decent.... *edit after tinkering, adjusted some levels + changed to 3dauro upmix.. seems this is the best

then i set all speakers rollover 60hz, and sub freq about 65hz.. setting it purely based on ear test/preference

Congrats!

Not 100" screen I hope,

(Audio)

đŸ˜„ 110"

I do look back at your advice and think yes 120 or even 130 could have been doable for a distance of about 3m primary viewing. Nevertheless still enjoy it and feels comfy

I always recommend this test tone video done by wwenze, very good for quick checking of any room modes / boomy bass notes by ear:
